Offshore bank account: Setup complete [#4]

As I wrote before in Part [#3], the bank has activated a multi-currency account for me. However, the setup was incomplete because physical documents haven’t reached the bank yet and therefore any outgoing money transfers were disabled.

Yesterday I was notified by the bank that they have recieved my papers and my account is now fully operational. Actually, watching the DHL tracking for the mail package was an exciting thing on its own:

The route was the following: Moscow->Leipzig->Madrid->Venezuela->Panama->Venezuela->Trinidad and Tobago->St. Vincent. You can actually do some geography lesson based on this tracking 🙂

In the next chapter I am going to reveal fees and charges associated with a bank card. And the next step would be.. funds transfer. Stay tuned.
